Good afternoon, was out shopping this morning as granddaughter came down to see if her gran wanted to go shopping, OH suggested that I came with them, I really got the impression that I wasnt getting a choice, it was as if she thought I would go out while she wasnt about, as if though it was nice to be doing something different. I changed my dressing again this morning and again didnt bother to count the number of stitches I have on the wound, the sun is out today but I'm not, took a walk out to the greenhouse a short time ago only to see OH watching me from the conservatory, she rarely goes into the conservatory when its cold, it definitely feels as if she doesn't trust me, you would think after all the years we have been together she would know me by now,,,, oh wait she very likely does ah well,just as well I'm a patient man have a good day everyone and please pass on the smiles

evening all,been to see the ballet,it was beautiful,cinderela,i was expecting something a bit starchy,but no,it was done in such a way was very comical in parts,and the dancing was exquisite,i really enjoyed it,apart from the flipin coughing fit hohohum,i feel shattered doing nothing,
poor doggy snoop,hope they get better,the sun shone here over lunch time was nice to see,so now its rest time,have a good evening all

Managed to get outside. Not much of the forecast Sun, that wind was cold so ended up chilled. Even doggy was outside with me today (well, bringing me toys).
Weather got out lovely once I'd come in frozen.

So pleased you enjoyed the ballet LD
Many, many years ago I took OH and our children to see the Nutcracker. OH was absolutely dreading it.
Not a tutu in sight…remote controlled mouse….absolutely incredible.

It’s about how these performances are directed etc isn’t it?

Many many hats off to the English National Ballet at the time They certainly engaged my young children and a sceptical OH!

The Nutcracker is my favourite ballet, I like the Matthew Bourne version best. It's been sunny here all day, but a very cold wind. Update on Harry is that he's doing well and is back at work.

.OH how nice to have good news FF glad Harry has improved so much,all the best to him,he had a rough time,i have never seen the nut cracker,have heard of it,not know about it,my friend was telling me a bit on the way home in the taxi,and have been invited to join them when it's on again,so something else to look forwards to,as they go every year, night night all

Lovely to hear the birds chirping away at this time in the morning.

It’s not raining!…so more gardening today for sure
I do however, need to get the washing machine to earn its keep today, but that’s not exactly hard work. Thank goodness for washing machines- I’ll never take them for granted.

OH is making bread at the moment so no doubt today will involve sampling it later

No set plans for my day- what’s everyone else up to?

Morning all.

It's looking drab and grey outside.

All the get up and go I had yesterday has got up and gone, and I'm still sitting in my bedclothes two hours after getting out of bed, usually unheard of for me, once I'm out of bed I like to be up and dressed. I've had a brew and the breadmaker's on, got my mum washed, dressed and fed, but that's the extent of it, just been reading the papers on the web since then. I need to whistle up some enthusiasm for the day.

Better go and look for my mojo now, more in hope than expectation.

Its fine out just now but by lunchtime its strong winds and heavy rain for the rest of the day. Glad io made the most of yesterday so today its Batch cooking and domestics.

Good morning all.

When I first awoke, as it was getting light, I peered out through a gap in the curtains and there was a beautiful apricot glow to the sky. Now we have grey murk and wind. The forecast is for wind and rain. Obviously shepherd's warning!

Flo, great to hear Harry is well enough to go back to work.

A big gap as one of my sisters rang for a catch up. I really don't know what we find to talk about but we seem to be able to natter for hours.

I've got croissants in the oven now, so I think I'll go make more coffee.
