Only had a bit of rain so far but it doesn't look good all day, tomorrow is said to be better.
No plans here, have a restful day everyone.

    • Morning all.

      Great news about Harry, Flo.

Hope you find your get-up-and-go, mothhawk.

Sunny day here, but decidedly breezy. Would be a day for getting my seed box out except I got rather distracted yesterday, so have to make up the time. Always tomorrow (which sounds a lot better than there's always next year).

The results of Mr Snoop's mystery mission are installed. Just as well I didn't know what they were in advance, as I'd have vetoed them - loudspeakers, of which he has more than a few... But even I have to admit they do sound good. And he's placating me by playing some of my old favourites.

      Have a great day, everyone.

          • Really sorry to hear you're still poorly, LD. Being ill is tiring and recovering from being ill is tiring. Don't expect too much of yourself.

As for my eardrums, they're doing OK. So far!

            • Sorry to hear you are still struggling Lottie. Please make sure you stay on the radar with your GP so they can keep an eye on you xx
I had pleurisy in my 40s and it took about a month to eventually calm down .
Don’t rush things, keep hydrated, and your body should sort itself out with medication and medical supervision. Xxx

I’m not sure if I’m growing my telephone peas this year. Last year aphids killed them overnight then the year before my harvest wasn’t too great.
It’s still early days so I may give them one last go.

                • I think it will just be strawberries, a few tomatoes and maybe a couple of buckets of potatoes for me this year with some basil in pots. I'll be concentrating on flowers again, it was less hassle. I might change my mind when I go through my seed box!

                  • I forgot all about the raspberry canes I bought a few months ago - they were all plonked in a bucket until I could find somewhere to plant them. There was a bit of compost in the bottom of the bucket, so who knows? They might not be dead. yet!

I gave one of my nieces 5 raspberry canes as a housewarming present, when she bought her first house about a decade ago. When, a few months later, she realised that I would be visiting, her and her mother, my sister, belatedly planted the "dead" sticks out. ..... Roll on a few years.... She went on holiday at the time when the raspberries ripened, and varying relatives were fighting to "look after her house" so that they could lay claim to the then abundant fruit, more than enough to make a decent amount of jam and eat fresh.
