Afternoon, it’s a beautiful day here today, feels like spring! Was up in St. Andrews for a few days with friends, so good to have a decent catch up and although cold weather was lovely there too. Skies were so clear we actually got to see the alignment of the planets.
Hope everyone who is under the weather gets well soon and Snoop, hope you get good news about your wee dog!

I must have timed it right for the Grory hop it was a quick in and out with no queue at the checkout.

The suns been out all day bit chilly but a lovely 31c in my GH when I was seed sowing.

We were really lucky Nicos. The place we were staying was in the middle of nowhere with huge grounds so we were able to get to a dark area and saw them just as the light was fading. I’m not often lucky to see things like that.

Grory hop later when the frost has gone- I prefer not to drive on unsalted country lanes if there is no need to.

Apart from that- probably a bit more gardening
No plans for weekend either so hopefully I’ll be able to crack on with some more of those things on that never ending list!
I made a Dorset apple cake yesterday , so I guess there will be some munching of that going on too

Good morning all.

Most of the frost has melted here now, but it was very thick earlier. I peered out of the window at about 7am, without my glasses, and initially presumed it must have snowed, everything was so white. I hurriedly turned the thermostat up and sneaked back into bed. Although it has just reached 3°C the sun is making things very inviting.

I have been fascinated watching "three" of our local magpies poking about and inspecting a last year's nest. I was just thinking that I'd never heard of an avian ménage à trois before when two of the birds turned on the third and sent him away. Now all three have flown away, just when I was considering hunting out or binoculars to watch their antics.

I need to make yet another Paradise slice today, as the last one has nearly disappeared again.

I also need to call round to see my brother in law later today and get a few bits of shopping.

I hope everyone, and their pets, are feeling better today. March tomorrow! How time flies, even when you're not having fun.

I’ve finished unpacking the shopping.
I took OH with me …. Impulse purchase is steak, chips and ‘wild’ mushrooms for supper tonight.
Not complaining…..but… …think he’s glad he went with me

We have a gloriously sunny day now- only 8C but everywhere is glowing in the light. Wonderful to see.

Afternoon all,well D I law rang on my behalf,all they could offer was a phone one,so she grabed a taxi and came to mine so she could do my taking,after arox 10 mins,DR said she would like to see me face to face,just over an hour later i was with DR,up is,the bloods show am a bit anemic,lung check ok,checheed tummy as i keep getting mild pain,sat me down and and calmly said,i would like a sample to check for bowel cancer,so that is now sorted and awaiting next week,

silly fingers prees to soon,anyway,today i feel much better in my self,took myself into the super market,took my time,boy was i knackerd when i got back,so all seems to be heading in the best direction at the mo,it maybe take a while for me to find me again,no iron pills was offered,but i wonder if she will after the test has been checked,my sister informed me that my late paternal grandma had BC,but she always sniffed snuff ugggg,i think that all my body hurting is from such intence coughing fits,and yes although i not like eating red meat for iron,i do engage on a healthy diet with veg nuts seeds and pulses ext,
