Morning all.

Crisp and sunny here too. The breadmaker is on the go, and that's all I intend doing today, except for some weeding if the sun stays. the grass needs cutting, but the ground is still too wet yet.

Time for another cuppa, have a lovely day, all.

It's a chilly one here again, and the frost seems in no hurry to melt away.

I've just lit the oven and decided to join Mr GF in having a croissant and raspberry jam shortly. I think this is partly to get the idea of herring for breakfast out of my head, Nicos. I think it is maybe one of the two foods that I really, really dislike, the other being oysters. I lived in the Netherlands for a couple of years in my 20s. It is so popular there. I would try it periodically, but I just found it revolting. I think it must be the texture as I have no problem with kippers.

There is nothing urgent on today's agenda and I have no intention of going out until things warm up.

Morning all.

Gloomy grey and drizzle here. Chilly too, even indoors. But that's the weather, not our mood. Fortunately. Just as well we did all our wet weather preparations yesterday, as it looks like we've got a long spell of drizzle and storms ahead. Mr Snoop has lit the range and the kettles are coming up to boil for tea and washing-up. Anyone fancy another cuppa? I'm sure Mr Snoop wouldn't mind having to top up the kettle to delay the washing-up.

Have you got any other ideas for what to do with your meat, LD? Mince/chop finely for cottage pie? Use as a pie filling? Chop into small chunks for chilli con carne?

Right, better get on with the day. It'll be Monday before I know it.

Good afternoon all,not such a good night,couging kept me well disturbed,but did stay in the bed,i woke up at 11.45 sitting up slouched in bed,with phone and classes in hands,this is going to take forever to get shot off,anyhow,the sun is shinning out there,but cold,have introduced some washing to the machine,Rary you doing fine,Snoop is not just the meat,it is a Large jam pan full off rootveg,pulses and chicken,along with the other usual suspects,i will try one today and see what i think,Nicos have you not got enough to do ,have a good rest of the day all

I have decided to cut my losses on the hot pot,and bin the lot ugggg lesson learned,will more stuff and stick with the pressure KING cook pot,that is reliable,

Hi rary, I remember you tried changing your password once. Can I just check: you're definitely entering your user name and not your email address?

I ask because I had a problem once after changing my password and initially I couldn't log in because it was using my email address as my user name.

Are you getting the same problem on all your devices? Could you confirm which device/devices this happening on?

I'm having the same issue as rary on my tablet last few days. Will see if I keep getting logged out on the pc tomorrow

Hello Snoop as the tablet is the only device I use to access the Vine I honestly dont know if anything else is affected, but so far with this post there have been no request for my password, though again 4 invald notices

Do you think the programme is becoming a bit selective, and trying to put us wans wi nay mony aff, yet naw cany be as Andraste is hivin the same problem

Thanks, rary and Andraste. I'll conflab with Nicos and we'll pass on the info. The IT people might want to know what your tablets are, Apple or other.

Let us know, Andraste, if you only have the problem on your tablet but not your PC.
