Post been,my car insurance ,fully comp,with £74 for roadside,recovery and at home,£465.65 ,is only £3.21 dearer than last year,i think that is very good on todays things shooting upwards,is aviva,it will renew automatic,so nothing to think about,just what i need

Good afternoon, sunny but cold today, was very busy yesterday, at the church coffee morning then some shopping, OH decided that we should have a special day with the family as the two of us have a big birthday and its our wedding anniversary this week as well, still another year to go before I get the long service medal🙄 along with a good behaviour medal as well😁 and as neither of us are into parties a day with the family is fine, anyway after daughter then son had dropped in and mentioned that we woukd be having the dogs for company at various times shortly as both are having short breaks some time in the next month, we decided that we would treat ourselves to a wee holiday also, so off to the lake district next week, with that I needed to get out to the greenhouse to pot on some plants unfortunately due to the various things I was doing over the coyrse of the day I had to take some painkillers, which led to me, when I was back in the house, sitting down and finished up inspecting the inside of the eyelids🙄 this morning OH coaxed me into going out for out lunch, I didnt realy want to so it must have took her a full thirty seconds to convince me it would be worth it, once back home I decided to wash the car then prune back the roses so quit a productive day and not tired as haven taken any painkillers, and GF I always take it easy😇 I thought you woukd know that by now😁😁 I hope everyone enjoys the remainder of the day and can find something to smile about

The weather here has been mixed so we spent the day cooking and baking in the kitchen. And nope…I specifically asked OH not to bake any more bread yet even though we’ve almost eaten all he made the other day

Bren…I keep my jigsaws like Flo does. If it’s been very tricky or too much of the same colours then I’ll pass it on to charity.
I have about 4 I enjoy doing, probably about 6 years apart!
One is the same garden throughout the seasons and another is a comedy one of people working on their gardens and allotments.

I should get one out. I put the snowy Xmas one away after not even finishing the border. Just didn’t seem to get the time this time!

Right…I forgot to get some of my daffs in from the garden- so I best do it now!
