Its brown sauce for me Nicos. Sometimes I'll have roasted tomatoes instead but there's not many left in the freezer.

It's only 3°C here, but the sun is making valiant attempts at breaking through the murk.

Lottie, the town hall steps were where 'Ladies of the night' supposedly plied their trade.

It's very quiet here this morning. I've just realised that the nearest main road is closed due to a local half marathon. As I don't need to go out this morning I won't have my normal annual rant about it. At least it isn't closed for as long as when there is a cycle race. That really winds me up. Cycles zap past in 2 or 3 minutes and the road stays closed for at least half a day.

I think more coffee is in order.

Afternoon all.

Sorry for arriving late on parade. One of those days.

Piccalilli is one of those things I cannot abide. Branston or lime and chilli chutney for me with a pork pie, cheese sandwich, just about anything in fact.

Not much news here except snow is absolutely tumbling out of the sky. Huge flakes. Struggling to settle after all the rain we've had, leaving loads of puddles everywhere.
