…climb it first….well, only part way…and of course Nicos obliged, hanging strands of tinsel as she went.
Not any old tinsel of course but eco friendly, organic , compostable ultra fast biodegradable tinsel.
It actually looked more like strings of popcorn but no one dared comment…..

[Snoop Puss]

Snoop warily put one foot onto a leaf to give her a hand. At that moment, a tendril gently wrapped itself around her and a voice boomed down from the top, "Which floor, ladies? Household wares,perfumery, lingerie, fashion, toys or cafeteria?"

She and Nicos looked at each other. "In for a penny, in for a pound?", asked Nicos.

"How about in for a pound, in for a kilo?", Rary said and shouted up in the direction of the voice "Cafeteria, for sure!"

Before Snoop and Nicos could react, the leaf...

…gently cupped around the pair and slowly rose above the height of the GR.

”oooooo…look at that” called Snoop pointing towards…..

NTG……he’d finally caught up with his boots and was marching briskly back to the GR towing….

….a large wooden sledge carrying greenishfing holding a snorkel and……

Well, in reality it was really Rary wearing his long winter nightgown and nightcap carefully balancing his bedside candle and chamber pot precariously on the front edge of the sledge.
” Excuse me!” he called out indignantly…..

“Oh good grief!” cried MH dashing towards them….

The seven league boots began to dance excitedly. NTG had no option other than to jump up and down, do the splits and twirl around as his feet were firmly laced inside them.

Nicos picked up that rather special cream for him (- just in case) , but amazingly his athletic body was keeping up with the boots, he was more worried about laddering his tights if the truth be known…..

"Is that dance what you call the Cancan?" asked the fairy.

No fairy " replied ntg "its more I wish i could could" and ntg's eyes began to water ... "he's done himself a mischief " said Nicos laughing and stuffing her 14th profriterol in her mouth. And then ...

.....a booming voice filled the air. "Who's stolen my boots?" Into view hobbled......

A giant.

"Not only have you had the nerve to pinch my beans, you've also pinched my boots. I'm not best pleased", the giant boomed.

The boots tried to hide behind NtG, but as they were on his feet, this merely sent him pirouetting round and round.

Rary decided that as he was somewhat flimsily dressed (not to say, scantily), he'd let someone else sort the situation out. Fortunately, mothhawk...
