I love this time of year. Happy Winter Solstice everyone!
Nestled somewhere in the Cambridgeshire Fens. Good soil, strong winds and 4 Giant Puffballs!
Always aim for the best result possible not the best possible result Forever indebted to Potstubsdustbins
Can't help feeling the earth has a design flaw. Just as the days start getting longer after midwinter the really cold weather arrives, then when the days start getting shorter after midsummer the really good weather arrives!
In usual times, we go to Tenerife for three weeks in December/January. I like to look at the BBC forecast for Edinburgh as you can see sunrise and sunset creeping earlier and later by a minute or two each day. When we return to the UK the difference is visible and that makes me feel we have turned a corner...time to get seed sowing. We're nearly there!
Mostly flowers, some fruit and veg, at the seaside in Edinburgh.
