Well, I took the cursor key button off, and there was no lint underneath. Lots of interesting circuitry though.
The key is actually broken, so I'll just have to put up with it.

I have taken off a laptop casing and cleaned in and around - I have done the same to keyboards and boxes of main pooters.

A tip - if you do take off all the keys, either take a picture of the keyboard BEFORE you start pinging them off (you ever seen how high they can fly when pinged?!) or draw the keyboard layout - trust me on this
