I bought a tin of Quality Street a few weeks ago when they were on offer in the Co-op, to save for Christmas. Having great trouble resisting them today - I'm bloomin cold but we've run out of wood for the fire, and other niggles going on - there's nothing like choccy to cheer yourself out of the minor doldrums is there? I've got a nice cup of cocoa (proper not instant) though, and that's just about doing the trick

Ooh shucks, now I'm totally embarrassed Heywayne, you've had my sympathy all the time with your back (been reading your post since you started it). Few years ago I decided to move a very large and heavy combi-oven, couldn't stand upright for 3 weeks. Your bad back is way out of my league. I need to get a stash of choccie in, but how do you keep it for emergencies and not just keep on munching - I have a problem with will power. Thanks for the sympathy guys Hubby is up and watching Top Gear, he's not incoherent, still light headed and a bit sleepy but no further deterioration. If it's his Shunt usually a failure happens quite fast after first signs, it's been nearly 7 hours. Good news I got my washing machine delivered Washing is in, massive big pile to go!

And you see - I moan and complain about my boring hateful job - but hey, now I'm grateful I have it. At least I can pay the bills and go home and warm the house up. I won;t complain about the job any more, I promise.Life may not be the party we hoped for but since we're here we might as well dance
