      I'm so sorry
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

Ohh, I'm so sorry hon, I have tears in my eyes writing this (at my desk in work). There's nothing I can say I know, but having had several dogs over the years I know how much it hurts. RIP Quincy xxxxxx

So sorry to read about your doggie, Bephlam. A timely reminder, though, of how dangerous chocolate can be to dogs and cats. Hugs from me. ((())) xx

When they say a dog is for life they mean it - beyond the dogs life, they stay with you forever.

                Sorry to hear the news.

Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

only just seen this, so sorry to hear about your loss, sending hugs and Bruce & Charlie send big licks.

Know what you mean about not just being a pet, our two aren't pets they our kids.

Would just like to add, as it's something i've only recently learned is that all types of mushrooms are dangerous to dogs.

Oh no - I'm so sorry Bephlam. It's such a hard thing to lose a dog. After some time you'll get the happy memories without all the pain. Meantime take care, and take comfort that you made him happy as much as he made you happy, and that he died on a comfy bed, quite an old boy at 14, but without prior ill health, and with his family taking care of him. Most of all that he was loved so much, which makes him a lucky little dog.
