I'm half Latvian, though my Dad was born in Moscow during the Russian revolution(his parents were evacuated there during WW1)My English side came from Leicester, who came from Derby, who apparently came from the north east where one of them designed steam engines and had an engine named after him(allegedly)will try and follow the english half one day,oh and I live in Scotland, but also lived in Amsterdam and Paris and Devon and London,so I don't know where the hell my roots are.

Snadger - I consider us peasants to have much purer lineage than Royalty - we were a bit more fussy about breeding outside our own family gene pools

                            I think I'm officially a Heinz...

                            Dad's Dad = London Fireman
Dad's Mum = Sarfend (Probably met when he was there on Holiday, but that's only a guess)
Mum's Dad = Glaswegian (Irish Immigrant family - Potato Famine?) may explain my liking for a drink (no offence)!
                            Mum's Mum = Can't remember, middle England/farming family, I think.

                            So, who knows...

well i know theres some confusion over my dads mum, she may have come from guernsey ...... no idea about his dad ...... their kids were evacuated from london during the war, and their parents both died, while they were away, so none of them really remember anything.

that's got to be it red ..... the webbed feet are fine then
