Sarz managed to view all our posts this morning on her phone but she couldn't post so asked me to pass on her much appreciated thanks to you all for your kind thoughts

She will be allowed home today if she can get to loo on her own rather than using the bed pan

She didn't get much sleep due to having a bed placed between a ranting mad woman on one side and a snorer on the other. Her humour has not been affected by either the breakage, the man woman or the snorer

Go on Sarz, struggle down that corridor then get yourself home.

We'll put a special comfy chair and a foot rest in the Sunday Night chat later
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

Sadly she is still there at the moment

The physio people didn't turn up so that she could so them how clever she is, also they are the bods with the crutches - so no crutches, no hobbling to loo!!

The mad lady has been moved, but the snorer appears to have developed Tourettes, each time they close her curtains she swears.

She tells me that the plaster is crushing her little toe, so they have to adjust it by 'cutting a lump off it' - sadly she doesn't explain whether she means the plaster or the toe has to have a bit cut off it

Visitors have sent her some Hotel Chocolat so she is a little happier in her tum.

She did send me a picture of her NHS supper, but I don't have my phone software loaded yet so can't show you - it didn't look great, but she said it tasted better than it looked!!

She says Hi to you all

So sorry to hear the news, take care when you get home Sarah. Not too much hobbling on those crutches, let people wait on you. I know it will be very frustrating (did my ankle in 3 places 4 years ago, so know what it's like and have the scars to prove it), but it really doesn't matter if they don't do things in quite the way you do.
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

Hey - at least she was getting plastered earlier in the day than the rest of us!

Seriously though, chin up, we're thinking of you. X
