rary turned around so that the other wouldn't notice him trying out the biscuit, after all he had to make sure they were safe for the others to eat, he tasted the biscuit but couldn't decide whither they were safe or not, so ensuring that no one noticed he picked up another half dozen or so to try out, surreptitiously he (now that's a good word to use,,,, he😆) started tasting them two at a time, but just as he managed to get two into his mouth Nicos asked him

Eventually, once Rary had sorted out his glasses, he turned back to Rudolph.
"Where are you heading for?" he asked
Rudolph gave a drunken belch and looked at Rary as if he had sprouted an extra head.
"It's Christmas week, where do you think I'm heading? I've got to be at the North Pole to meet Santa by Christmas Eve. I just thought I'd take the scenic route. I've got a few days to spare and I want to spread a bit of Christmas cheer.........Comment

As Rudolph staggered off towards what he thought was plot 5A everyone breathed more easily as the windfall apples were certainly having a rather pungent effect on Rudolph. "Rocket fuel?" murmured Rary with a grin.
Nicos had started to unfasten the large Christmas tree on the car roof and was getting annoyed at the lack of assistance when the two not so ugly sisters (no make up on yet) aided by Widow Twanky grabbed hold of the tree and marched it indoors ready to decorate......Comment

Fortunately she’d brought along Aladdin’s Lamp and with one quick rub , out popped the Genie and behold……the tree was rather beautifully decorated!
Rary had his eye on the dangling gingerbread men and ladies, gf rather fancied the chocolates and bramble liked the look of the candy canes….All were clearly home made but looked amazingly professional.
JanieB - always one for a bit of festive spirit - started adding miniature bottles of fizz , artistically presented.
Snoop grinned - “by far the prettiest tree we’ve had for years” she exclaimed flicking on the tree lights.
