    Hi All,
Just being alive at this point after the last couple of days visit to the Hospital, my sugar dropped to a low 2.6, next thing I am fighting off some blokes who happen to be paramedics. It looks like I passed out gave my head a knock on the way down and scared the life out the wife who thought there was an odd noise coming from the kitchen only to find me sprawled out on the floor.

Just shows that even people who think they have they're diabetes under control can slip up and boy did I.... : -O

    Geoff.

        Hi Nicos,
Just glad to still be here as it could have so easily gone the other way, it was a weird experience one moment I was taking my sugar reading the next the work top seemed to have come alive with everything just moving about, all I thought was that's not right what the hell is going on ? The next thing I am scrapping with a couple of paramedics, but yes gave the wife a fright still unfortunately for madam I pulled through.. : -)

I can joke about it now but I can't imagine what the wife was thinking let alone then having to tell the daughter just glad it was just a fall and not the other. Just makes me think I need to spend the time I do get from now on a bit more productively and like yourself Nicos will enjoy the time more when the daughter and Granddaughter visit.

Many thanks for the kind thoughts Nicos......

        Geoff.

Geoff, try and look after yourself!

I'm just happy as I've just made a loaf tin of "sticky chocolate cake" a.k.a. 'fridge cake, a.k.a. tiffin, a.k.a. one of my favourite foods! It is chilling now.

n 2023, what makes me happy is witnessing the growth of my succulent plants. There's something incredibly fulfilling about nurturing these little green wonders and seeing them flourish under my care. Each new leaf that sprouts, every little shoot that emerges, and the gradual development of the plant brings me joy and a sense of accomplishment. It's a simple pleasure, but it's a constant reminder of the beauty of nature and the rewards of taking care of living things. Plus, the vibrant colors and unique shapes of succulents add a touch of natural artistry to my living space, creating a calming and happy atmosphere.

                Hi All again,
Of coarse what makes me happy is you lot and all the kind words, none of us know each other on a personal level only via what we choose to divulge on the forum.

But yes It's good to be alive even if your in pain it's better than being the other and if you can feel it there is only one way to go normally unless you are seriously ill and that is to get better and take care of your self.

                Geoff.
