I have posted mine. Lynda I hope you put youself in for all the hard work you have done you deserve it.
Our post office moved to the far end of town a while back, off I trundeld with me parcel and some other bits. OH asked me to pick up his presciption from the docs across the road from post office. I did the post office first to get rid of stuff before going to docs, guess what, I walked right back into town without going to docs so had to turn around and go back, my head will never save my legs. I had already been into town (2 min walk ) before going to post office. Just had a call from OH niece can you meet me in town I am on my way. That makes three times today so far.

                    • SMP, you're lucky he stayed around to wait, I saw a news clip where posties are complaining about being expected to walk too fast (can't remember the figures), and some aren't ringing doorbells, just putting through cards that you weren't in All to do with productivity and all that. Royal Mail denied the 'charge', but the posties union said they had complaints from all over the country, so???
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

                      • my postie is great, i told him sometimes if i'm up stairs i can't get to the door too quickly , so now he just knocks and if no answer in a couple of minutes he leaves things behind my rose bush ..... tis annoying if he has a day off though
