  • Crafts and Makes

I'm sure there used to be a thread on craft makes but I can't find it.....

Doing needlepoint over the years I accumulated a lot of tiny odds and ends of wool. I got them out the other day to chuck away, but then decided to see if I could turn them into a dolly or two, and here they are.

        Wow- that looks fantastic!

I seem to recall having a little red riding hood and grandma combination doll at one time….yours looks much more homely.

Yes, I found this book at the library https://www.amazon.co.uk/Topsy-Turvy.../dp/1784942170

As my bits of wool were all colours, I followed the basic pattern and made a generic doll. I did have to buy some pale pink wool for the faces as I had none that would suit.

It has a Little Red Riding Hood but she is teamed with The Wolf!
