***Update on server update ***

did server up date work.
also search still does not work correctly.

We will notice that server update is completed when we lose the posts of the 19/20/21 and possibly those too over the past few days

We have promised to keep Grapes up to date as soon as we know anything ( we are, together, all part of the Grapevine team)- and we stick by our word.

Admin / IT won’t be online over the weekend so we mods won’t hear anything until Monday at the earliest.
Sometimes things don’t go according to plan, and thre must be reasons that it’s taking longer than anticipated. We are not the only forum etc they are working with.

As for the search facility ….I very much doubt it will be sorted ‘ just like that’ - they are just transferring info onto another server. Hopefully though there will come a time when IT are able to work in the Vine’s idiosyncrasies.
That search facility hasnt worked for years tbh.

This isn’t an update though really, it’s a change of server.
As Admin said ….“All of our websites are being migrated over to a new server. ”

Hopefully after that we’ll have an update?
As I said - we mods will keep you all in the loop as soon as we know anything more from the new Admin team.

Looks like the transfer went well and all should continue ‘as usual’.

Tbh….I don’t think I noticed any posts lost?…did anyone else?
Anyone notice anything at all different?
If that’s the case then they did well phew!
