It's a right pain in the leg innit!?

I've an appointment this afternoon with the same specialist that operated on my back some 5-6 years ago to rectify 3 slipped (pro-lapsed/herniated - choose your terminology) discs. Hopefully he'll be able to identify what the problem is this time.

Just having a correct diagnosis can make you feel better - hope you get yours soon.

I find them really good but they are pretty expensive to buy. Got mine a few years ago in a sale but they've almost doubled in price since then - think that may have something to do with a few celebs using them

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

thank you for all of your lovely comments and i can't wait to be honest to go back on friday and find out whats wrong with me...

i've got work ringing me every week to see if i can go back but because i work in a clothes shop and have to be on my feet 9-6 i can't do it at all.
i managed to go back for 4 days in july but by the end of the 4 days i couldn't walk sit or did anything.

its funny that you should say about leaning to one side we brought a wii fit and everytime in go on there i'm always leaning to one side and its the side that i have got all of my pain!!!

Hope you get everything sorted soon Louise, my O.H. has a bad back & pain down his leg which was caused by a slipped disc, trapped nerve etc., it happened years ago & took ages to diagnose, he had bed rest, manipulation & an operation & took ages to recover but this was years ago in the 'dark ages'! He still used to get very bad attacks of pain with it for some time but luckily doesn't have much of a problem now. Although back pain is still so difficult to sort out they do seem to have a better idea how to deal with it nowadays.
