I cannot go in without coming out with 30 quids worth of stuff, even if I only go in for one thing!
And OH is worse - he was moaning the other day as he hadn't been into town to see what they had done to wilkos (they have moved it all about, v confusing). It's his fave shop!
I love wilkies, but the nearest is too far away i do order online though, they are very good and deliver within two days, minimum order is 10, delivery is usually 5 for the smaller stuff, and it would cost me that in train fares to get there so pretty reasonable i think, plus i don't have to struggle home with it all.
So what do Wilkos do so right, that Woolies got so wrong?
well i guess they stuck to a format that worked, they have never tried to 'Upgrade', they are what they are inexpensive household only , apart from a few bits.
woolies couldn't seem to make up their mind what they wanted to be.
I seem to remember a certain TS berating a store about alliums recently.................
