Might be slightly too early. They've been romping away over the last week or two, but it looks like the night time temperatures are taking a serious hit this week.

My first rose is in flower today with lots of buds just about to open.
Golden Showers, which I pruned really hard.
It's really vigorous.

I've got the first sunburn of the season... Does that count?

Must have happened when I was planting out the onion seedlings this weekend, quite unexpected. I only applied sunscreen to the face, not the neck

The first borage flowers several years ago I planted out a couple of borage plants grown from seed,every year they appear again

This Welsh poppy has appeared for the first time here,I read they can become invasive,I might deadhead them just incase? -

You could dead head, but I’d leave them- they do spread but are easy to pull up .
We have a few in our driveway- they came from a tub of plants we brought over from the uk when we first moved here. Very pretty aren’t they? Makes a change for us from the red Flanders poppies everywhere.
