Going in the garden & seeing the new growth & flowers. Last year I posted a photo of my broccoli plant in its second year,it had flowered in its first year after producing broccoli,I leave some flowers for bees. This shoot grew from the cut down stem,I went out there today & there’s a little broccoli head growing, photo 1 from September 2023,photo 2 from today

Hedgehog poop I can’t believe how happy it makes me lol 😄 The other day I was planting up some main crop potatoes & noticed two large, empty snail shells close to each other on the patio,I thought it could be the blackbirds but yesterday I saw a bit of hedgehog poop on the grass about two foot away from where the shells were, quite close to the little water bowl I leave out there. I’ll put a bit of food out later
Edit to add- when the fence man fixed the little side fence that goes to the front garden,I got him to leave a hedgehog gap at the bottom,I think the hedgehog will be really happy about that 😄😎 there’s a gap under the gate on the other side that’s always been there, this extra gap on the other side will make easier access…

          How fantastic JJ!

I had to grin last night cos just as I was about to go to bed a male roe deer was calling out at the top of his voice!
Just at the bottom of our garden!
Went on for about 10 minutes before he wandered off into the distance.
Hope he got lucky!…he certainly put in a massive effort with his calling. I wouldn’t be surprised if has s sore throat this morning!

The weather that we've experienced the last few days. I can't believe how much happier I am to feel warmth and see sunshine..

Roll out those, lazy, hazy, crazy days of Summer!

I always see different birds wiping their beaks on the stagshorn sumac after they’ve eaten. I’ve just realised it has a furry feel on the bark,so it must be a nice soft napkin type of branch

Four little tomato seedlings that have germinated in last years tomato buckets. 2 were growing out of a decaying sungold, the others I have no idea!
I wonder how they will turn out?
I'm quite excited and looking forward to seeing what fabulous new tomato I may have

The collared doves have had two babies, one sat on our fence yesterday for the first time,it looked like it stumbled out the nest but later flew to the roof & back in the nest. The other one might’ve seen & thought I’m not doing that, looks alert just behind the other, they will be sitting with each other on the fence soon 🥰

                      Hi All,
                      I AM BACK!!!!!!!!!!.......

I don't know what happened but I could not log in for such a long time, I tried contact by emailing relevant addresses but no luck, so I have just been plugging away every now and then trying to reset the password without any luck, I couldn't even set up a new account as the algorithm told me another user was already using that address ? ? ? I KNOW ME!!!!!!

Then BANG! the reset password actually worked literally just now..... Anybody else had this problem at all ?

Just had a look at how long it's been nearly a year since my last post just shy of three months...

                      Geoff.

Great to see you back Geoff !
                        I wondered where you’d got to….how strange!
Which emails did you use? ( can you pm me so I can look into them to make sure they are up to date please?) so sorry you struggled with that- and well done with your persistence!
