  • Fave Christmas tipple?

Had some Advocaat last night, love it, it always makes me feel Christmassy. I'm also looking forward to my Raspberry vodka and I just love a sherry with my mince pies.....
    Whats your favourite Christmas tipple?

      Always like champagne

(sloe gin or Guinness in the Autumn in the run up)

Pre kids we ladies used to enjoy home-made snowball ( not the fizzy little bottle) with a stick full of cocktail cherries.

Bucks Fizz for breakfast Christmas Day, sherry with the mince pies, wine with dinner, usually end up falling asleep.

Yep Champagne here too. Love it! And other than that, just lovely wine. Don't mind the odd Baileys but not mad about spirits and stuff, but can be persuaded to the odd cognac or drop of Laphroaig.
          I don't roll on Shabbos

Usually wine or bubbles with Christmas dinner, I love a Drambuie on ice as a winter treat. Warm Gluhwein reminds me of frosty Christmas shopping outings in Germany when we lived there - warms you right through too.

This year I have 4 litres of elderflower 'champagne' which I saved so will be having some of that on Christmas day.

Bucks fizz in the morning, do like a drop of port or sherry occasionally (only at Xmas for some reason) and Baileys has to be my fave out of the few spirits I do drink.
Normally just treat myself to a really nice red.
Not much of a drinker at all now, can't tolerate much and I hate being drunk.

Advocaat always reminds me of Christmas too - it it that you have with lemonade to make a Snowball?

Quite like a nice warming mulled wine - love the smell in the house that it leaves.
