I have a digital camera, that I bought just before the second Gulf War. It has a card and have always used that but today I have found some piccys on the camera disc rather than the card, that I took in Iraq, a couple that are quite poignant for me.
I want to try and put them onto my memory card but cant work out how to do it.
I dont have the camera lead direct to my laptop so cant do it that way, and certainly cant buy one out here.
Does anyone know how I can do this?
Its a Casio QV-R3 if thats any use to anyone.

pretty sure you need a lead to get them onto a pute, but not sure how to move them onto the card.
is there a 'move' option in the edit part?

i can do that on my phone, move a pic from the phone mem to the card.

if there isn't you are going to have to wait till you get back, hopefully a camera shop can get them off for you.

Bride I cant find an edit bit. I know there will be one somewhere but I cant find it. SBP This is a work laptop not my own and I cant download some part of that, and I dont have options to allow me to download programs, which is tiresome.
Cheers dudes/dudettes anyway, I think it will have to be a trip to Ebay when I get home and do it that way, they certainly wont deliver to here! Spose I could use carrier maribou.

there may not be an edit bit on the camera, depends on how old it is, it could well only have edit options in the software that came with it.
i think your best bet seeing as you can't do the downloads smallblueplanet kindly found for you, is to wait until you get back, and then either get a lead, or get a camera shop to get them put on disc for you.

hate it when you have pics you want to keep and can't figure out how.

had to transfer all the OH's from his army days to disc for him, now he has them all in montage frames on his walls.

Now safely on the card and a couple of them will go on the walls in my museum at home, and yes, I am that old.

A mistake once made never made twice. Few years ago I had all my photo's on my laptop, including first pix with granddaughers. Laptop just died and couldnt get them out. Big tough ex para and all that, I almost cried when I realised I couldnt get those photo's back. I am now totally over the top with storage, they are already on my own pc and my external memory drive.
