Would she like a voucher to get her hair done?

I did that last year!
MiL kept on about how nobody did her hair as well as Tracy used to. But Tracy had changed salons, nobody knew where she was now.

I did some detective work, phoned around, and tracked Tracy down to a salon on the way to Mr Shed's work. Out of town, but on the way.

So we got her a voucher for there, and there was a waiting list, but she got her hair done really nicely in March.

....and then she said what a bother it was to get there, and she would rather have gone to the one in town



We've got her a book token this year.

Would she like a voucher to get her hair done? Or if she is feeling brave a manicure or pedicure? Everyone likes to feel nice!

Got the same problem with my MIL. I would like for us to get her something, but no idea. He's useless, says he hasn't thought of it at all.
I know if we asked her, she would probably say not to worry about getting her anything, but thats not an option

Join the club,I have the same problem every year.OH is not helpful at all-"whatever you'll get it will be fine"-well,it won't.
I don't like giving accidental stuff that won't have any use for the recipient.It works both ways though-I'd rather have something useful or nothing.
The idea with subscription of the magazine is good-the same with hair-might use it next year-if I still remember.
