Just had to share yesterdays adventure.
Noticed about 10 days ago that the plastic bag of birds peanuts in garage was almost empty - and not because I had put them out for said birds. Hmm, must be mice. Let OH know, as the garage is 'his' and I was worried what else the mice might be chewing.
Yesterday discovered what the little b@@@rs had done with the nuts - there was about 3Kgs of nuts (plus some sunflower hearts) in the boot of our classic car. Unfortunately, they had also chewed the curtains of our vintage caravan awning, so much gnashing of teeth (ours, not the mice)
So, Sunday afternoon, I'm out in the garage with dustpan and brush, removing all the nuts, then getting vacuum cleaner to pick up the rest.
But no sign of the mice.
Was this one VERY busy mouse, creating this store, or a whole tribe who have mysteriously disappeared?
Off to get humane traps today
