Miz Spelling stomped out.

Snoop grabbed her wreath, dried kippers and all, from the display and enticed the furballs outside. Even though the kittens would be useful in deterring the rodents attracted by the mince pie crumbs, worsened by the teeny-tiny bites that looked suspiciously like fairy toothmarks in the pies in the tree, it might be better if Miz Spelling didn't see them just now.

While playing with the kittens, she tripped over a loose bit of carpet. "Oh dear", she thought. "Now the management will think I'm after making an insurance claim. Perhaps I'd better go and talk to Miz Spelling in her office."

She went up to the office door and knocked...

there was no answer,it was in darkness,so turned round back to see what other mischief she would do,

But thought better of it, as her knee was hurting from when she tripped on the carpet.

"Might as well go for a lie-down in my nice comfy bed", she thought. "I won't get into trouble there. And I've eaten so much yule log I'm not hungry. And I suppose if I do get peckish, I could always nibble on a dry kipper seeing as the fridge has been removed from my room so I've got none of those dinky packets of peanuts or mini KitKats."

She studiously avoided looking at the fairy as she made her way past the tree and made her way upstairs somewhat forlornly...

…only to be followed at heel very closely by Flo’s lovely ginger cat….

Good evening all said Miz Spelling,it is so nice to see you all complied with my request ,as to your being well behaved,now,must go and get ready for the comedy evening,will see your all in the lounge bar,and please claim your free drink as promised,when i come back i will have the great pleasure of introducing our special guest ,she sniffed the air ,and was happy the fishy stink had gone,and as a reward for the cleaning staffs coming back in to clean up the mess,will be joining us also,by for now

But there was a deathly silence….where had everyone gone? Had they all gone outside….?

Surely it was too cold and too early to be waiting outside for sunrise on the Winter solstice?

on Returning to the lounge bar it was very noisy everyone was so exited to know who it was,ladies and Gents,i am sorry to say ,that our suprised guest harang to cancell,he had heard talk in the local he was staying,about the mess,and something about a kipper,apparently he is alergic to sea food,so he has organised his friend MR Crafty Snobbs to come along instead,hope your not upset,do have a good evening

Mrs Go-4it was really happy that the competitors in the Bake Off would have Saturday night and Sunday off to calm down. They could relax and take advantage of the hotel's amenities. Firstly though they each had to make a fruit cake tomorrow. Surely they could manage that without causing too much havoc.

She was also wondering about the disco tomorrow night, and if the fireman, and his workmates, who she had ogled in the calendar he was selling, would be attending. Maybe they could be bribed into doing a "Full Monty Night" for New Year. With an unaccustomed spring in her step she went to see if she could persuade Mizz Spelling to try and arrange it.......

"Crikey", thought Snoop, who had been greatly comforted by Flo's ginger cat and was feeling a lot better. "I had no idea that was on the cards. Better talk to Bren sharpish. See what she thinks we ought to talk about."

Bren In Pots, she called over the public address system. "You there?"

ooooh said Miz Spelling,i will have a think on that one,she has a hot sweat come over her thingink about a ROW of fire men,right,have thought,and Yes, if they not out on a call.unless,several stations will loan us 1 from each station,
She said to herself,go get some pea shooters,and water pistals for the ending,lets see who has the best shot first,hehehehe,the water pistols can be discharged to cool the ladies down,I like the chrismas cake for bake off subject,thankyou for saying sunday is a day of,will put in my diary,i will bid you good night Mrs GO-4it,see you in the morning,all one could hear was the sound of a snoring chorus ,she paused again at the tree to reflect on the day,it was good she a job at last,she let out a big yawn before retring to her bed.
