......got down to business. She had already decided that lunch would be a buffet, made up basically of Christmas Day leftovers with salads and nice breads.
Worried about possible saboteurs, the kitchen was now in "lockdown". Only kitchen staff were allowed through the doors.
She wondered who was coming "from the TV" to repair the roof. This could be interesting. Would there be a camera crew with them?
The police were also coming round later to interview everyone. She really ought to brush her hair.......Comment

If you need any more staff to help in the kitchen,seeing as extra people coming,just let me know,unless Michelle is still around,as she maybe have contacts,i would also request please,that my meals be served in my office,it will be easier as space is limited with the dinning room out of action,i just hope that tomorrow will be a better day for allsigpicAnother nutter ,wife,mother, nan and nanan,love my growing places,seed collection and sharing,also one of theseComment

The buffet was all laid out for the guests, who of course were overwhelmed by the choice of delicious stuff on offer. But when the waiter came back from delivering Miz Spelling's tray to her office, he looked very worried.

Miz Spelling made her way around to see how everything was going,she thanked MRS Go-4it for her meal,and said that a body had crept inside with a snow ball and hit the waiter ,could this have been meant for her she wondered,the police said that tomorrow a Detective constable S Solveit would be coming,and wish to interview everyone,and Socca would be here to look for any clues,and you know what that will meanplease keep it clean

Mrs Go-4it was miffed. As if anyone could accuse her of keeping a dirty kitchen. She assumed Miz Spelling was just dotting is and crossing ts and not actually casting aspersions. But any police people coming round had better think twice before making any suggestion of the kind.
And as for the fairy, well... If anyone could be accused of being dirty, it would be her. Mince pie crumbs and dropped baubles all over the floor and she was probably even playing dirty, or certainly not playing entirely fair.Comment

I heard that said Miz Spelling,none are casting any badness within the kitchen,plus is a natural thing the police do after such events as we have had over the recent days,if you think the fairy looks dirty, and boubles on the floor I firmly believe we have a sabature among our guest's,so please calm down and not get stressed,this time next week they will all have gone home,lets go to my office for a nice good night tonic,i have a feeling we will need a good sleep(what ever one of them are)before DC S Solveit comes,sigpicAnother nutter ,wife,mother, nan and nanan,love my growing places,seed collection and sharing,also one of theseComment

Time for one of my nightcaps called Nicos…pulling out a rather large bottle of her mirabelle vodka.
I hope , as Landlady Miz Spelling, this will be allowed?…it’s purely medicinal…honest
“This should help anyone sleep” she said….casting a suspicious eye on the fairy again and deciding to spend the night sleeping in a chair( no…not the one Snoop favoured
) but one strategically placed where she could keep an eye both on the fairy AND the alarmingly large hole in the ceiling…..

Snoop settled into her favourite chair and suggested to Nicos that they take it in turns to keep watch.
Flo and Bramble couldn't sleep and came giggling down the stairs, a gaggle of ginger furballs behind them. "I just fancied something a bit sweet", Bramble said. "Midnight feast, anyone?" Flo suggested.Comment
