AT this rate we will will be the only ones sober,as we cannot have a decent drink,and very awkward for eating,i can smell ...............all the delights,and see some flashing colord lights,must from the Music band,and feel the floor vibrating,Flo said snoop,have you missed your spot on the kareoke,whilst all enjoyed themselves MR Snappy was busy with the camera,he was eager to impress the boss with the snaps ,especially if one was errr,interesting shall we say,MRS Go-4it and Miz Spelling looked at the big clock,it was getting close to midnight,shall we now give them a nice supprise,a button was pressed,and down came a cine screen,deplaying the scenes at London,so everyone could watch the fireworks,the band had been asked to stop playing and the sound turned up,this gave time for everyone to fill their glasses ready for the moment,you could feel the anticipation in the air building up,although some did wonder if the horse would come up for air,

Flo and Snoop emerged from their costume with great difficulty. Nearly nine o'clock already! They'd slept right through. Flo spotted a bottle of fizz.
"Shall we?", she said to Snoop.
"Well, we didn't have a drop during the party", Snoop replied. "We could make it acceptable by adding some orange juice for a New Year's buck's fizz."
They went off to the kitchen, opened the fridge and there, by some miracle, was the chocolate fudge cake and a large jug of ginger beer, surprisingly still half full.
"Best not touch that", said Flo sensibly. No orange juice in the fridge but they found some fresh oranges on the counter and squeezed those. "Probably safer than anything in that fridge", said Snoop sensibly.
And they drank a toast to Miz Spelling and Mrs Go-4it to thank them for yet another eventful season at the Gardeners Rest.
"Best go and pack", they said in unison. Followed by: "Same time, same place next year?" and "Wouldn't miss it."Comment

Mrs Go-4it crawled out from under one of the buffet tables. She was definitely the worse for wear. Her head felt all at sea. What had she been drinking?
"Coffee", she groaned. "Please".Comment

Miz Spelling rang the big bell at the bar,to draw attention to those that were at least half coherant,she began,
Good afternoon everyone,MRS Go-4it and I,would like to say what a pleasure it has been to be your host's,i would like to draw your attention's,to our lovely christmast tree,the secret of the tree was not the glamorouse fairy on the top,but a hidden camera,(i will not disclose where )we thought how nice it would be if your all had a copy to take home with you,as a reminder of the great time you all had with us,if please go to reception,where the fireman will be handing them to you personaly,
However upon looking ourselves ,these are just some off the things we noticed,but all names will forever remain in the vault for safe keeping of those persons honoer and respect,
Theft not borrowed,brandy from the kitchen,
Activeties back of the wood pile with the fireman,
pinching of the waiters bottom,on more than once(they got double pay for not droping the trays),
another in the corner rooting their nose,
Mince pies being glued to the tree,
damage by lifting of a carpet,and trying to cast ASPERSIONS on our establishement,
Snogging with santa in a corner(snigger snigger)
letting loose of mice,without permission,
and as for what our buttler saw,i am not allowed to disclose,
even around the woods where the mushrooms grow
and finally what caused some people to go to sleep,it was nothing to do with the kitchen or staff,but a person didnot have the good manners expected here,and say PARDON ME,
we do hope you have enjoyed your stay with us,our copy off events is a gift from us to you ,
Could i please once again,remind you you to leave your comments in our visitor book,also please recommend us to other people,

Snoop looked at Flo and Nicos. Who was this 'it' that kept turning up suddenly and shrieking? It really was very alarming.
And this business about being searched, well, none of them thought it was on. It had never happened before at the GR and all the Vine members were respectable people. Getting all dressed up in every item they owned and wrapped in every spare blanket they had brought plus their horse and foal costumes, well, it was a form of protest. Not only that but they decided it would be a sit-down protest to make it even more difficult to search them.
Flo was all for calling the police to find out what right anybody had to search guests. Snoop wondered if they could sue for assault. And Nicos suggested calling that Mr Snappy or Spappy or whatever his name was so he could take photos to publish in the local paper.
