Mrs Go-4it was starting to get (more) worried. What was happening to her friend? Was there any right and/or wrong? It had taken her years, along with one of her sisters, to negotiate a "happy" path through her own family's interactions .... or lack of ......and there were still outstanding issues (ashes!?).... that a "normal" family would maybe not make a big issue over.
She was not prepared to take sides in any "stupid" saga. She just hoped that everything would be happily resolved tomorrow....

Snoop was having another telepathic moment. Odd, because she hadn't had any of that mind-altering coffee, cake or ginger beer.
"There's no such thing as a 'normal' family, I reckon. The only norm is that families are all very strange and next to none of them are what would ordinarily be regarded as 'normal' I reckon", she said. More reassuringly she said, "You just stick to your spoon and if anyone steps out of line, give them a good rap."
"Who's Papa Ratsy?" she whispered to Flo, before slapping herself on the forehead and saying "Doh!!"

Miz spelling was taking her usual walk around,stoping again at the tree for the very last time,as it was lit up in all it's glory,the scounts and guides had done a brilliant job of doing all that decorating,it was well worth the donation we gave to them,then a peace came over her,as another new year had now dawned,she sighed and turned to go to her room for the last night left at the GR,she needed to sleep well in order to wake early,she then gave a very loud long yawn...........................................sigpicAnother nutter ,wife,mother, nan and nanan,love my growing places,seed collection and sharing,also one of theseComment

"Bacon but no egg for me, thanks, Mrs Go-4it", Snoop said, not yawning, as she had got up bright and early to make sure she'd packed up all her stuff and hadn't left anything anyone could trip over. She was one of those people who saw a policeman and felt like a criminal, or heard some random accusation and assumed she was the guilty party. But she was sure it hadn't been her who had caused the cleaning staff member to fall at the beginning of the holiday.
"How are you doing today, Mrs Go-4it?" she continued, making polite conversation while her bacon was being loaded into her butty (extra bacon it appeared, seeing as she wasn't having an egg). Better make sure she had some water with her today in case she got thirsty. No drinking the coffee or ginger beer on the last morning, that would be a recipe for disaster.

Miz Spelling sighed to herself,not long now till Nicos will lock to door at 2pm sharp,for the next 50 weeks,Miz spelling and MRS Go-4it was pleased that,the wages were so good the last 2 weeks,they was able to retire,
Everyone was busy doing their final preps,the staff were also glad to be going home for a rest,the scouts were dismanteling the tree,snow was indeed starting to fall, thankfully it was only a sprinkle,it should keep off untill all were save home,the guest only have a few mins left before they have to vacate their rooms,sigpicAnother nutter ,wife,mother, nan and nanan,love my growing places,seed collection and sharing,also one of theseComment

Snoop wondered if there was something in the air if Flo was thinking of calling out the instigators. But she had no idea what it might be.
She looked around her room and spotted her costume. She couldn't possibly leave that behind. A good souvenir plus it might come in handy next year.
