..and out peeked Fluffy the hedgehog and Missie…they hadn’t wanted to have missed out on this Festive Season’s fun, but been too shy to come out.
They grinned at Snoop and made room for the rather enormous costume , and, ( well, let’s face it…most things are enormous when you yourself actually fit into a handbag) a bundle of seed swap packages which had been very generously gifted by the establishment to all the guests.

Good morning ladies,said Miz Spelling,your all welcome to my share of the bacon ,there is obviously something in the air at the Gardeners Rest,

Flo was still guzzling her bacon breadcake while sputtering "Keep up Snoop"

Flo graciously accepted the seed package, but wondered how she would fit it into her seed box at home.

Snoop blushed. And not for the first time this holiday... Brain definitely on a go slow.

Flo winked at her friend and said "Why? What else have you been up to that you haven't told us? I hope it doesn't involve the fairy!"

Everyone looked around…. Where was that winking fairy?…

Well Miz spelling announced,it was time to depart,all the bags had been placed in the cars,MRS Go-4it & Spelling,(wonder what they sell) were standing on the steps of the GR along with Nicos she had come for the Key,the others were saying their last farewells,and had exchanged NO ext,when a noise was heard in the distance,not everyone heard for a start,they had just gotten into their respective vehicles when it became apparent that something was amiss,Nicos,Go-4it and Spelling looked at each other and SCREEMED,quick get inside,as they looked out the window what they saw was beyond belief,there where wild boar,yes you heard right,WILD BOAR,,followed closely by the huntsman,HOW on earth did they get here,it was an awfull noise,the guest's shot off like rockets of to the moon,well i never said Nicos how did they get here,they were making a right carry on,they eventually shot off out off site,leaving a trail of dust and mud behind,lets hope they not settle in the woods at the GR,AAAAAAHHHHH they screemed in unison,BUT said Nicos it would be free meat for next year if they did,Spelling and Go-4it said their goodbye's and left,leaving NIcos to do her thing,

just to say the IT screeming wall shaker thing was .............................the ghost of MIz Spellings Fustrations at the goings on,she has now gone and will hopefully,not seen again,the smelling saults remain in her room at the Gardeners Rest.

Mrs Go-4it climbed aboard the fire engine for her final journey to the (fire) station, where she had promised to make the pompiers a proper dinner. She wasn't quite ready to go home yet......

…and with a sad heart Nicos waved goodbye to her friends.
Looking back into the GR, everything had been left absolutely spick and span.
She felt for the heavy key in the pocket, turned to Snoop- who was also lingering- and nodded with a smile.
Turning the key in the lock they walked off together towards the village green.
”Fun wasn’t it?” they agreed.” So many lovely people here this year and such lovely company “

And with that, the snow started falling thickly again as their thoughts turned to the new growing season ahead.
