    Learn how to kneel, dig, bend, carry things PROPERLY, good posture is vital not to strain your back. Don't do too much at once, build up to a full days work. Good tools esp for however tall you are. Get a fit partner!

      Sounds like my girl child speaking but then "fit" means something different to teenagers!
      I am certain that the day my boat comes in, I'll be at the airport.

        Lay-down gardening - it's the future.

        Tell you what piskie - you get the low stuff, I'll get the high stuff. Between us we'll have it sussed.

        Bespoke garden tools - now there's a business. How many tools out there are suited to everyone? You can buy secateurs that fit your hand, but you try buying a spade/fork that "fits". Pah!

          Just get yourself well edjimicated and you'll make enough money to pay someone to do the hard graft while you supervise and titivate.............that's what my boss does anyway!
