Wayne it sounds so exciting, my son is 18 in March and it only seems like five minutes since i gave birth to him.
I can honestly say it was love at first sight, it was over whelming. I have never felt so happy, scared, excited and in awe all at the same time.
Being a parent is the best, best thing in the world for me.
Good luck to you both and i look forward to hearing the happy news, take carexx

A colleague of my husband's got fed up of waiting for their overdue child - many years ago, this. He decided to try and get her excited so he took her to see the Charge of the Light Brigade!

      (Didn't work!)

Same happened with me but I was dumb enough to drink it! Needless to say I was violently sick in labour, and got called a "silly girl" by the midwife mindyou she was right!

Any twangs today HW? Today's my sweepstake day so just asking!

I'll check in later [and on bookface] to see if there is any movement - so to speak.

I have it on good authority, from my Mum, that the best way to hurry a baby up is to push your husband's car out of a snowdrift . It's why I was two weeks early.

but I've never been early for anything since - except dinner lol

I do that every night - I give Bean a stroke, head to rump and have a little talk so he/she gets used to my voice.

They have been mentioned to me on a few occasions, have suggested to LadyWayne. Thanks for all the suggestions.

Nothing today I'm afraid - we did go out with some friends last night, and they were the first people we saw after we'd found out Bean was coming, so we thought they may be the last people we saw before Bean arrived...
