Someone out there is trying to get me down.
Ok, so I've two "slipped" discs, being treated on the 6th with cortesone "epidural" injections which will hopefully work. Quite painful at times and added to the fact that LadyWayne is snoring quite loudly at the moment means I'm losing sleep. Classic attempt to make someone grumpy.
I've been backward and forward to the ENT department to sort my ears out and it turns out I've got an ear infection (which might explain my recent boughts of dizziness). Sat in waiting rooms for an hour or so each time, added to previously mentioned back niggle - textbook grumpiness inducing tactics.
Was at the doctors last week for a blood test as my blood pressure was quite high (which they said may be due in part to the back pain). I get home tonight having been faffed about by the pharmacist/doctors and open a letter from the doctor.
As a result of my blood test they want me to make an appointment to discuss my raised cholesterol and a level of abnormality of liver function!
Bean, your father's a hypochondriac! (sp?)
Chuff em! I'm still smiling - there's others out there with far more to deal with than me I know, but sometimes you just have to wonder dontcha?
Sorry if this comes across as a whinge, I'm just venting.
Oh, and ASDA refuse to stop playing that chuffing advert!
