  • Last Minuet Shopping

I have already been to Tesco's this morning to get my fresh stuff we were there just after 7 am and it was already filling up. Needed to go early before OH went to work so OH could pay otherwise he suggested going tonight. Dont think there will be much left by then. Having worked there for the last nine years I know what its like. Sent my niece a text and she is there now.
    Happy shopping.

Yes, I'm off to do mine after the mucking out. So if you bump into a frowning bird in Jods and wellies smelling of horse and chicken poo - it'll be me!

Haven't decided where I'm going yet - farm shop sounds a better bet than supermarket - I'll leave that to his lordship, he loves it! (nutter)

Did mine yesterday morning when I dropped Madmax to work - glad I did - lots of spaces when I arrived, when I came back out there were folks fighting for parking spots!!

anything I have forgotten we will do without (except for a prezzie for Madmax - any suggestions?)

He doesn't garden as such though he helps me with the heavy stuff. He says all he wants is his car restored!! Hmm, are any of the banks worth robbing?

Wondering what I can get my BIL from my 13 yr old niece that is living with them asked her and she suggested a voucher for him to use for computer time as he is limited to how long they use it. That would mean extra time for her not him !!! cheeky madam !!!

We did the "smart" thing and ordered most of our presents online.

... thanks to Royal Mail, we are still waiting for two of them, they're a week late now. Mind you, looks like Mr Sheds will be sent offshore tonight, so we'll probably be having Xmas after Boxing Day anyway.

I wrote the list and OH went this morning. I didn't say I wanted more than one sachet of angel delight, so it's my fault that when I do the trifle for Boxing day for 9 people, I will have to spread the topping thin. No one else likes custard! I thought he'd remember that normally he and the boys think one sachet = one serving.

He also objected to having to buy more bread, we had 1 loaf in the freezer, which with 6 of us in the house, won't be there by Boxing day. It's really funny how he can be so parsimonious over some thing and yet .......

I also asked him to get some sweetish white wine for the girls to have with dinner as they don't like red, he came back with a half bottle of Sauternes , to go with the pud. It just happens to be HIS favourite wine, and sooo expensive. The girls will just have to have coke unless we go shopping again, and I don't think I'll be up to it
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

Mr S came in last night and said "do we have orange juice for Dad, he doesn't want wine"

I ain't going to Tesco today, so he'll have to have whatever we've got ... Ribena probly

I found Life on Mars series 2 on DVD for mine last night. Won't be delivered till early next week though. Going to put a 'present promise' in an envelope on the tree for Xmas morning.
Just got to get him something from the boys.

I cant get a dvd for my OH that he wants so I will also be giving him an IOU. He has paid for most of his prezzies any way and is soooooooooooooooooo hard to buy for. Like our daughter said dad always asks for expensive presents. He is diabetic so no chocs doesnt drink or smoke not that I ever buy cigs for anyone that way they cant blame me if they get cancer !!!! His only hobby is coin collecting and as he has loads I have no idea which ones he is missing. He never gets any surprises cos he always knows what I get him.

Nipped to sainsburys earlier, its bonkers! Did the round of the local butchers to get bones etc for the dogs, they were so busy, I just bought something small and left. Will go round again Mon when its not so mad.

Still need to get a little summat for my bro's boy and girl.

I'm heading to tesco after work tonight, god help me! I finish at 5, I'm dreading going but prefer to go and get salad and fruit tonight. I have to go to work in the morning so don't want to leave it till last, last minuet and go after work 2moz!

Once I finish work 2moz, I will head home wrap the pressies and put my feet up with a nice bottle of wine and some snacks! Have a cuddle with the cats in front of the fire and TV. Ahh.... bliss can't wait!
