OK, I said I'd let you know.

Imagine my amazement when we arrived at Lidl at 1.30 this Christmas Eve afternoon (if you see what I mean ) only to find that there were 2 - yes, count them TWO other shoppers in there and they were British!

Next stop Intermarche and there were hardly any shoppers in there either We have worked out that the plan for next year is to go shopping just after 12.30 whilst all of France are still having their lunch.

      'twas a doddle

Happy Christmas everyone and let's hope 2009 is a better year for everyone.

Don't think I've bought anything in the supermarket this year, certainly not in the past few weeks, therefore stress levels nice and low.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Today I went to get all the bits you always forget and thought I had stumbled into an episode of survivors - ok a bit of an exageration, but where was everybody

Popped into the local M&S food shop to get some nibbles and cheese. Wanted to spend some &More credit card 'reward' vouchers and a £5 off £25 coupon......nothing left!

Well I say nothing, there was half-price champagne. So two bottles of that cost £26 - £5 coupon - £19 vouchers = £1.98! Yippee!
