I'm ready. Nothing else to do for me. All finished.
Of course when I get home on the 28th I will have to go and buy all my kids xmas pressies, book a ferry, collect 100 panes of glass, deliver pressies in the UK, collect mine etc, but, for the actual day....I'm done.

I can't read all your posts at the mo as I'm off to babysit the grandkids, but I cannot BELIEVE that 18 of you are already in a position to post here.........I just feel so inadequate.

Not only are we ready; I have made hob nobs and we've just booked another week in New York in April. So that's even the first holiday booking out of the way.

Forget Christmas, I want Easter now so that I can go away.

And it's in Greenwich Village this time, in the hotel we couldn't book this year so we didn't go.

I'm ready too - pressies all bought & wrapped, cards all written & sent, food all bought (not setting foot in a supermarket ever again after that "experience"), tree decorated. Just need to cook food & wait for the 8 people, 3 dogs & 1 baby to turn up on the day - i may be in need of a vat or two of wine to get through it but it is chilling in the fridge (with back up supply in the garage just in case!) Cheers everyone, i'm just going to try a glass now ..... just to check it's ok you understand
