points out that's not as organised as it sounds, the drumsticks have been in the freezer for ages, just haven't eaten them yet ...... no decorations/tree etc, .... and the only extra has been some choccy, and i don't drink, so if DS wants some he can buy his own

Yes it was! He fell thru the door, said he'd been sick on the train, and put himself to bed.

He's now sat in front of Top Gear, not a care in the world ... should I tell him he's not defrosted the prawns yet? Or bought a lettuce? (he's in charge of the starter, cos I ain't having any )

Well, the turkey was collectd last night, along with the other essentials, the pressies are all wrapped under the tree or delivered as approrpiate, I left for work extra early this morn and dug up parsnips, picked sprouts and lettuce and cabbage, and am about to leave work for two weeks. So yes, finally I can post and say I'm there, wooo hooo!!!

This is probably my last post this year ..... have a great one all!

omigods i am ahead, boiled the gammon and made all the lil piggies.

i need to stop and relax, had a nasty spinny out migraine last night with flashing lights for 30 minutes, at least it wasn't painful like my usual kind.

OH is doing kitchen, boys are building chairs, cleaning floors, DD is dusting and doing the bathroom. Son no2 even emptied the bokashi bin for me so we have an empty one for tomorrow.
I have got meat from the freezer, wrapped all the pressies, made some fudge, and practised my reading for the carol service tonight
I am trying to keep out of the way upstairs and let them cope.

All the pressies and food bought in 2 days and that's it!

I'm going to do a quick tidy up and start preparing supper with a nice glass of something to help me on my way.

Ready or not - I give up . I am pouring myself a large whiskey sitting back and enjoying the evening with the kids. Whats done is done whats not done won't be.
