Nope, STILL not done, but most of it is. I still have a few prezzies to wrap and the dogs need a good walk to exhaust them in case they do the Leg Thing. I doubt I'll have a drink in my hand much before midnight, but hey, at this point it's all relative.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

Didn't quite work, getting everyone else to do the jobs, OH faffed around so much I did the kitchen myself, kids did great tho, and we're finished now OH is just getting in the shower, ready to come to the carol service with me. DD is panicking, she can't find her stocking , and I've already given the spare to Japanese Daughter. I'm enjoying a cuppa, I don't want to stumble over the words of the reading in church, so I'll have something stronger when we get back.
Merry Christmas to everyone, have a good one

Still a few odds and ends to do (Mr R sounds as though he's actually fighting some wrapping paper in the next room at the moment), but we've cracked open the Champagne, got some smoked salmon blinis on the go, so it's all kicked off here! Happy Christmas everyone, you're all lovely. xxx

It's 6.30pm on Xmas Eve, and Mr Sheds has just asked me if I have an Iceberg lettuce for his prawn cocktails ....

            er, no.
So they're having prawn coleslaw instead

Yes, I give in too. Not that there is much to do cos the both of us are pretty easy going, not so much laid back as laid down.
              Have a good one everyone.

                      Prawn Coleslaw sound fine.

                      Curry sounds much better.

PMSL coz Sheds predicted the lack of ingredients for Mr Sheds starter yesterday (or was it 2 days ago?), and I bet it was her that came up with the solution
Personally, I'd rather eat owt than a prawn!

Finally!! Could do with a quick hoover through, but might do that in morning before boys arrive, or I might not.
Time now for glass of the mulled stuff while making apple pie and watching something shamlessly sentimental and seasonal while I do it.
