I don't understand why we pay Speedy Police.... The SpeedyCams measure and photo the cars so why not let the general public have a go ?

The idea is that if you have an issue with speeding in your area.... nip down to your local copshop and pay a deposit for a speedy unit and then have fun razing cash for your favorite charity! More bobbys on the beat.. seems like a win win to me. (apart from been road raged by some mad beggar in a Subaru!)

I would love a SpeedyCam as I live on a road that is often touted as one of the best driver's roads (read: speeder's road) in the north of England.

Still tho it's cool to see car club rallys go by but i draw execption to sports bikes and why pay for a track day heros!

I have to say I get a bit shaky on the 3rd step of the step ladder, so maybe I could do with some of that training too Makes OH chickle as I have never even seen what's in the loft, 2 steps up and that's my limit thankyou very much.

It's not H&S so much; but the price of training everyone in 'working at [small] heights safely' is less than the potential risk of someone injuring themselves and suing. It's just them covering their backs.

Sad though, these times we live in.
