What did you get for Christmas

I got some smellies, but had far more pleasure from giving gifts as to me that is what christmas is all about :-)

I just got some (nice) smellies, hand made fudge, hand-made chutneys etc from mother (very nice, a thoughtful selection)

Mr Sheds had a phone call from his mother last night (we got her just what she asked for: a stick blender to make soup, just soup, like the one I use) ... and she said some of it's missing, where is the whisk. I gave Mr Sheds that look, and said she didn't ask for a whisk, but she could have my whisk. He said she didn't particularly want the whisk, but thought there should be one in the box and there isn't (why? there isn't a picture of a whisk on the box?)

She did this last year, dropped heavy hints about a hairdo with a particular stylist, so I did a lot of work tracking her down (she'd changed salons several times) and then ... "oh, I'd rather have gone to a local salon". Oh what, the one you're always complaining about?
