Well done all of you. Remember its a drug and you are going cold turkey so there will be addictive cravings.
Very proud of you all as I couldnt give up my vices, even if I wanted to.
I went to Padstein about 4 years ago for the first time in maybe 20 years and have to say that I thought a certain celebrity chef had ruined the place. I'm sure a lot of the residents would disagree however, he must bring in a lot of general custom to the town.

Didn't club him to death. Got up at 3 to let the insomniac Dog out and went back to bed to be kept awake by his lordship snoring like a p*g, so overselpt this morning .

So, no G&T for 2 days and no vino either, so that's got to be a saving of around a tenner so far .

He didn't dare even look at the Port bottle (tee hee).

Anyway, hope you're all doin' fine. I think it's harder for you guys and I really admire you.

ooooooo day three today, ...... didn't do so well last night, couldn't sleep, so smoked like a chimney, but so far today, have only had 2 *rolls number 3 and lights it* ahhhhhhh ...... see i'm doing really well me ...... still haven't touched a drop of alcohol ...... i do however think i may have to do something about this tea addiction, cos every time i have a fag, i gotta have a brew with it ..... hmmmmm can you get addicted to tea???????

Hang in there love, slam a door really hard or chuck that chipped mug as hard as you can down the garden to smash it. Good for venting anger/frustration but then you've got to clean up the mess!

Is baccy about £2.50 a day's worth? If it is, you're up to nearly £7.50 better off. You've gone 60 hours, I'm sooooooooooo proud of you xxx

I'm finding it really hard now as well. The mum-flu is better enough for me to get dressed and go out, the temptation's huge!

lol its about £5.50 a week i spend, so money saved is not a BIG incentive, although every little helps.

and as i do NOT feel any healthier yet

anyway folks its day 3 dont no how you are all feeling but i feel quite good considering i am not sleeping at all but i will say my cough has reduced big time
