  • 1 week ago yesterday I bought my last packet of fags. So, (think I should whisper this bit cuz it's REALLY embarrassing) in a week I've saved about £30. O..M..G where has it gone? Bought pair of trousers in the sales - £6, better quality cuts of meat for the week was an extra £3, extra fruit (Vitamin boost) £4, the rest is still in my purse Still taking it 1 day at a time though, not getting complacent by any stretch of the imagination. I do a very good "stamp-in-the-snow" dance when I'm really gagging

    • Wow well done MH That really makes me think, I could affort driving lessons and save for another eglu ( had to sell last one before crimbo needed the dosh). You must give yourself a huge pat on the back, you are doing fab, if you can do a week then they say the physical cravings have gone and it is now psycological, if should in theory get a little bit easier now, keep your hands busy, (behave), you are a non smoker if anyone asks how long you've stopped just tell them you gave it up last year, what's a few hours between friends

            • Well flamin' done Mo!!

that's a serious saving, i treated myself with my savings today and ordered the GYO mag for next month, deal is, if i stay off the fags i get the mag, if i start smoking again i have to cancel it

I am doing really well today though , thanx to Sarz ( love ya) i highly recommend the inhilator, it may only be psychological but thats what you need anyway, and bonus cos i had cut down so far anyway one cartridge lasts all day.

If you're any good at Meccano, you could have one of these in 15 weeks

                        New Budget Greenhouse

I've got one in my back garden and it's fab, once you manage to get the frame together

                          • Who's still hanging in there ? Is it starting to get any easier yet?
There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore and who always will. Don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it in your future.

                              • Still hanging in there but sometimes feel like letting go! Not sure if it is any easier, still get the cravings and my cough is awful. Got a bit of the miseries today, but on the plus side, I haven't had to go to the cash-point and I've kept myself busy making a double nest-box for my chookies.
