I recycled previous years cards that I had kept and made them into gift cards, something I used to do and havent for a few years, MIL asked me where I had bought them as she couldnt believe I had made them.Gardening ..... begins with daybreak
and ends with backache

Mrs snuffer puts to one side cards with little pictures on to be made into gift tags. The rest are taken to school where they are collected and sent to The Woodland Trust. As people from the surrounding area bring theirs and not just the staff and pupils every year they collect several huge sacks full.It is the doom of man, that they forget.

Christmas cards are expensive and not very nice here so I'm a cheepskate and cut up most of mine to make next cards for next year.
I do have to be careful not to send parts of the original card back to the sender thoughA garden is a lovesome thing, God wot! (Thomas Edward Brown)

The best recycled card I ever sent was one where the original senders had had an ink drawing of their house printed into Xmas cards. The following year I got my kids to colour it in and add glitter, then remounted it and sent it back!!!
Scarey- hmmm- I didn't even see any!!!!"Nicos, Queen of Gooooogle" and... GYO's own Miss Marple
Location....Normandy France

Didn't tesco have a recyle cards box last year?
I cut the best bits off to let my children make new ones, or give to pre-schools and the rest get taken to tesco.
Not sure where the wrapping papaer can go, our recyling collection says it WON'T take it this year.
I think lots of people will simply fill an extra bin for the dustmen...
