Yesterday we visited the Wood Green Animal Shelter in Godmanchester and then the one near Royston and came home with this handsome chap!
He was called Tricky but we changed it to Toby. He is around 2 years old and is HUGE!!! He was only castrated a week ago (hence his size - is all muscle too!) but he seems to be a real softy. He has been spending alot of time hiding but doesnt run away when approached and really seems to enjoy a fuss being made of him.
Lilly is interested in him but is too much of a scaredy cat at the mo to say a proper hi! The kids dote on him already, although Daniel did ask when he would be going to heaven with Ollie...... *chokes back a sob* Ahh bless.
I think he has done us all some good already you know - no cat could ever replace my darling boy but this new friend of ours seems to suit us rather well.
