OH has fallen asleep on the settee and is snoring shouted at him he stopped but has started again, Watchung Whoopi Goldberg on tv and am bored. I havent been out all day and now its getting dark, I hate New Years Eve cos we never do anything. Boy am I bored

LOL that makes two of us, although i do like sister act.
the boys are doing their own thing, and i have nothing to do, except cook for them later if they bother to eat.

I really love NYE day cos it is the day we always take down the deccies and tree and clean up ready to go straight into New Year with a clean house. My OCD showing again

We went into Oxford this morning to buy a goose for tomorrow then came back and set to with the tree felling and scrubbing - then I did my usual daily 30 mins on the cross trainer .... I am now ready to partttiieeee

That makes 5 of us,, have never gone out celebrating new year, infact never go out celebrating anything,, we would rather stay in, have a drink and feel happy knowing that we are not going to get assulted etc,, we prefer our own company anyhow :-)

My decs dont come down till the 5th as thats my birthday and as a child we got to take sweets off the tree at my party. Its something I still do. Its too cold to go to the lottie no sun here for a few days, and with my cough and cold I dont feel like it. I am certainly not doing any housework except cooking and loading dishwasher. I am usually so busy I should be glad of just doing nothing but the boredom gets me.

We're listening to the radio, will be making a fire soon, the dough in the breadmaker has just bleeped so I can take it out, and make one loaf and one cinnamon bread loaf, we went shopping and bought a decent chair for the computer desk [meaning to change it for ages], did some washing and will be having omelette and chips for tea, a couple of swift shorts/pints at the pub, and then back here for a cosy evening watching TV.

No time to be bored!

Add another one to the list please!! I had the kids here Christmas day, then went to my daughters boxingday but been alone and not seen or spoken to anyone since. "Oh I tell fib, you can count the shop keeper today, I said thanks and happy new year to her when I went for a few bits."

I don't much like this time of year. It's no fun without loved ones to be with! The kids are doing their own thing which I don't begrudge!! I just hate being single sometimes, I soo miss having someone around to share the good and bad things with!

I am going out tonight, one of my girlfriends invited some of her friends and me round to see in the new year! We'r all single girls, having a get together this year, instead of all sitting in our own homes lonely and miserable.

Sounds good to me a few drinks, some food and some music along with a good natta!

Have a good new year anyway folks whatever you get up to!

What a shame we live so far apart I think we would all get on like a house on fire. Niece just sent a text to say go to my sisters ( her mums ) but she will have a three and four year old and I dont know that I can be bothered. its six miles each way. Just cant please some people can you lol
