Oooh they're lovely. I love Suffolks - they're the prettiest sheep. Hope you've got loads of lovely healthy babies, and as the others have said - we want piccies!

I had a friend with Suffolks, she said they're lousy mothers, is it true?

Well it turned out to be a quiet night.
Only had 2 sheep lambed and I have 3 very good lambs.
The sheep are just like people and have their own character. Some are wild, some are tame and they are just about all good mothers.
There have been no disasters with them yet so I hope it stays that way.
The good thing about potatoes is you can just leave them in the box and not worry about them but there is always something to be done with the sheep.

When a farming friend of mine was expecting her third child one of her sons asked ' how would the baby be born ' she thought about how to answer and then said ' when its lambing time go and watch and thats how the baby will be born ' he did and never asked again. I always laugh about it especially as he is now a father himself.
