    Yeah, it's Orrible.

I had my little nephew to stay the other day and his coat stank of fags when I put it on him. (He'd been at his Nan's the night before).

Yes, any non-smoker can tell a smoker from a mile away. No matter how much perfume/aftershave a person wears it does not disguise the smell.

Yikes yes! I used to work with a lovely girl who was very glamorous and lovely to look at but reeked of cigarette smoke. And the minty mouth spray/perfume/body spray she used to 'disguise' the smell after her fag break always made it so much worse...blergh!

I can tell which of my students smoke when I mark their assignments. As soon as I take the script out of the plastic wallet, the smell of smoke wafts around, as I'm a non-smoker, it's horrid. My daughter's face is always a picture.

The students make me laugh too, if they need a wee break during class, then walk back in past me and I tick them off for having been on a fag break, they can't seem to understand how I know mwhahaahah

Every weekend we visit the 'Hagga Bagga' (MIL), well I don't if i can get away with it but I digress. She smokes, her house stinks of smoke, all the furniture stinks of smoke and after a visit we all stink of smoke.

Anyone wishing to give up for 09 I would reccomend investing in a snuff box. No where near as expensive as nicotine patches. You can conveniantly get your fix of nicotine whenever you might need one (nicotine is taken into the bloodstream via blood vessels close to the surface in the nasal passage). Best of all you don't force anyone near you to inhale your second hand smoke and you can take a pinch anywhere (you don't have to go outside). Give it a go it might help get rid of the fags for good.

i did consider snuff to be honest snuffer, but i have a sinus problem so thought it might not be wise, not pretty for a lady either to be snortin and dribblin brown stuff.
it is however an option, and seeing as i am the oddball round here, snuff just might cap that off, where the heck do you get it from these days though, there used to be a really cool snuff shop in brighton, but B has gone all PC, and no coffee roasting and no snuff anymore

oh i forgot, one of my cats comes home stinking of smoke, and not from mine cos i am a dab hand at recognising tobacco brands, she is obviously spending time with a golden virginia smoker, so all you 'cheats' out there, beware, not all smoke smells the same

When my daughter used to stay at my sisters she only took clothes toys etc that could be put straight in the wash when she got home. she wouldnt stay very often and wouldnt eat when she was there either. Now my niece is living with my other sister who doesnt smoke she relises how much she used to smell of it.

Many 'proper' tobacconists still sell snuff. My favourite is McCrystals. I am, in all honesty, never without it. BrideXIII, you say it might not be pretty for a lady to be taking snuff but in the eighteenth century more ladies took snuff than smoked. Queen Charlotte, the wife of George III regularly took snuff and her family often referred to her as 'Old Snuffy'.

Not sure about the sinus problem, (might even help) but all things being equal, give it a go. You might enjoy it. Imagine being down on the lottie and getting the snuff box out (no inuendo intended) infront of all the old boys. Classic, that would give them something to talk about.
