the pg tips ad with the two monkeys?
i thought that was a take off of a Morecambe and Wise sketch????/
we bring tea back with us when we go to engerland - this time 11 packets of Tesco's Assam (leaf)...tea is so expensive here and you cant get indian only ceylon.....or poncy stuff like green (aagh)
reminds me of when i lived in greece, any uk visitors brought an extra suitcase, filled with tea bags, creme eggs, bassets liquorice allsorts, and proper mars bars ....... was a nightmare drinking foreign tea (theirs was rubbish, 3 tea bags to make it tea coloured dishwater) .... well i know it's foreign anyway, but yer know what i mean.
Yes definitely a reworking of the old Morcombe and Wise 'Breakfast' sketch. Only one thing spoils it for me. Where is the tea-pot? You can't possibly have a good cup of tea without using a pre-warmed teapot. What is this country coming to?

I'm with you there, Snuffer - tea made in a pot is better. Don't know why, it just is.
As for the ads - haven't seen the new one yet, but I definitely remember the 1971 one - I can't believe it was that long ago.
