What a shame Maureen, and yes the people who do these things are just mindless low lifes. But don't let them get you down or change anything you do. Just clear up the mess and get on with your own sweet life. Never let them win.
Hope you get some good help and things sorted out soon. Thinking about you.

THATS THE SPIRIT maureen, hope you feel better soon, unfortunatly having good security does'nt always work, some rotten sod actualy cut a bit out of me debrie netting, and left the bit at the scene,i had sewn 2 bits together to get a wider net and also eliminate the holes, all was ready for some brassicas come spring, the bit cut out was the black bit with the holes in,apox 7 in,and streatched a biger hole,so i now have to patch it up,every now and then we get something, certain sheds, including ours always gets opened, nothing inside touched,i only have a bit of wire to stop the wind blowing the door open,

Oh what a horrid thing to happen.
All honours to you for being strong enough to rise above this, as you quite rightly say they have no idea what's growing just near their feet.
                Hugs to you

Best wishes from me too. I'd want to pull their arms off if it was me, so I sympathise. I get angry before I get upset .

Hopefully no lasting damage done, and at least no one was hurt. Like the others, I'd be there helping if we were nearer.

Hey look at it this way, they didn't get in and obviously while tipping the shed they did their back in and had to hobble away. It's a hope! Either way, rise on up, keep going.

I am sorry to hear you have had bother with your shed.

It's kid's, probably decent ones from decent families.

They do not realise or appreciate what effort goes into anything until it is pointed out to them.

I used to walk through a cut into the local park to play footy and do generally youngster type things.(1980's)

This said cut through was between allotments that were, well awesome. I/we always helped ourselves to the peas, beans, and other tasty items that overhung the fence on the way by.

I once got a right good shout from the plot holder, 'Oi, if you can pick em, that side then you won't mind helpin this side will yah,

He was of course correct and I spent a hour or so helping him get his peas in and I listened to his oldely worldy sensible 'nonsense'. Things were different then, but not that drastically.

I am now the proud tennant of Jimmy's plot and understand why he went to great lengths to keep the local kids on side, I would love to have his advice but don't want to knock on his door.

I guess what I am saying here is, not all those who are dickheads as children go on to be such as adults, thankfully, and whoever overturned your shed will one day have a shed of their own overturned. The youth of today are pretty much the same as the youth of yesterday.

ie 70% good, 20% slightly naughty, 10% bad, and 65% who didn't get caught, and the other 8% went on to become accountants.

I am busy growing peas, beans and the like alongside the fence in the the hope that the local kids think as highly of me as I still think of Jimmy (96)
                          Kev.

Eagles may soar, but chickens don't get sucked into jet engines.

Thanks for those very wise words Couperman, I'm hoping that somebody will have a bit of a guilty conscience about what's happened. Unfortunately, I'm inclined to think it was some of the local druggies looking for something worth selling. One of the other plot holders is actually our local Community Police Officer who is also involved with getting the kids off the streets, giving them something constructive to do and generally trying to help them become decent members of the community. I emailed him this evening and asked if he might be able to arrange for some of the more "hefty" lads to come and help me to put the shed back. Although when he replied he didn't say that he could do this, he did say that he'll have a go at putting it right for me, which is really good of him. Also, my Fireman son-in-law has said he'll help as well. (Bec, my daughter, said it's no good asking for hunky firemen from his station, there aren't any )

So, hopefully by the end of the week I'll have my shed up and "working" again, my Mum-flu will be better, and I'll have unblocked the kitchen sink - which I think got blocked with chicken-stuff but I'm not telling anyone that, I'll just buy extra bottles of Mr Muscle and/or caustic soda with the money I didn't spend on fags !

*chucks auntie Mo a face hood*, cos being a fireman, they might not be hunky, but they have to work out so they can rescue damsels from the windows of burning buildings
